Job Description:

This position requires experience working with IBM Websphere Portal, but if you are inexperienced in this area and feel confident to take this up, you are encouraged to do so. You will be required to lead a team of developers to work on IBM Websphere Portal using RAD or Portlet Factory.

Skills Required:

Required Skills/Experience

- Java / J2EE application development experience (3+ years)

- Sound Knowledge of Java / J2EE architecture and design patterns

- Experience in Web Application Development with java

- Experience in HTML & front end technologies

- Rich User Interface development including AJAX, Javascript, JQuery or Dojo. Understanding of Rich UI concepts is a big plus

- Experience in at least one major RDBMS

- Client coordination experience

- Excellent communication & leadership skills

- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Self motivated and drive to get things done

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliver on tough deadlines

- Ability and willingness to travel on domestic and international assignments


Nice to Have

- Experience in IBM Websphere Portal and Portlet Development using RAD/Portlet Factory

- Creativity and urge to take initiatives
