Job Description:
The Unix / Linux Consultant will:
* Demonstrate experience in delivering support / systems administration for linux in Projects. * Broad mix of Unix/ Linux System Administration skills, including RedHat LINUX. (RHEC desirable). * Previous experience within an Enterprise environment, with understanding of virtualization, installation and customization of complex multinode systems. * Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of work, whilst demonstrating persistence in pursuing solutions/ fixes and the confidence to challenge thinking and suggest novel approaches to problems. * Understanding / experience of DHCP, DNS, NIS, Shell scripting and knowledge of kernel tuning, Perl and C Code.
