Lighting Sales Executive
at Lideas in Lahore
Job Description:
1. Build relationships with key MEP, Interior and Civil construction companies and provide quality customer service in terms of translating their needs to Lideas internal organization.
2. Follow up on quotations/technical submittals and ongoing projects
3. Develop relationships with lighting specifiers within the major local as well as international engineering and architectural consulting firms
4. Specify a lighting solution through the project design consultant:
a. supporting their technical needs (developing lighting studies through specialized lighting manufacturer software, creating autocad layouts using Lideas products etc).
b. constantly updating them with the latest in cutting-edge lighting sources and solutions.
5. Contacting, coordinating and supporting the contractor with the job in-hand to ensure that the contractor purchases Lideas lighting package.
a. Part of this role involves ensuring (through both technical comparisons as well as price discounts) that the contractor does not accept competing alternatives.
6. Aiding/convincing contractors with job in-hands to replace the specified products (represented by Lideas competitors) with Lideas alternatives.
7. Constantly taking advantage of Lideas vast knowledge/experience in lighting to stay abreast of the latest lighting technologies.
Skills Required:
1- Fluency in written and spoken English.
2- Ability to work effectively work within a team and to deliver objectives/work within deadlines
3- Skilled in communicating / presenting ideas to a group of industry professionals.
4- Comfortable with working in an extremely high-pressure environment with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
5- Comfort in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
6- Working knowledge of basic electrical engineering precepts (E.g circuits, lamps, ballasts, transformers etc)
7- Preference will be given to candidates
i)- exhibiting familiarity with basic lamp sources, fixture types and lighting applications.
ii)- with an ability to use autocad.
iii)- with prior experience using lighting calculation softwares such as Agi32, Lightscape, Lumen Designer or Dialux.
8- Undergraduate Degree in any Engineering Discipline (preferably Electrical Engineering), Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design or Business Administration.
